Live Forever or Die Trying

Well I can not seam to stop doing these reviews.

They are pretty fun to put together and to think critically about the games rather than just playing them.. and as I am pretty much constantly playing adventure games it is not like I am going to run out. Still they do take time and I am pretty sure I will be done with it for a while (though I remember saying that after I did the one for the Dig)

Anyway in this review I have chosen to do a modern title, probably one of the few I will do for the foreseeable future as my heart is really in retro adventure games, for some reason the new games just do not have the same power over me. Still I did like this game and have tried to use this review to talk less about if the game is good or bad but to discuss some ideas about adventure game design that is illustrated in this game.

Hi Y’all.

Well, after the encouragement I got form you guys and some of my real-life mates I decided to do another video review. This time I chose THE DIG by Lucusarts. This time I did all the audio first instead of doing it in sections of video and audio, so I was able to get a lot more of the information I wanted in. I think it works a lot better. Still learning but .. I do think it is an improvement.

For some some strange reason I got it in my head to do a video review of Gabriel Knight Sins of the Father. So I have done just that and I thought I would post it here and see what other people think.

This is my first time doing a review and YouTube has a 10 min limit so there are a few things I kind of didn’t have time for as I was waffling on so much at the beginning. I really enjoyed the experience of making this, witch I really only did as a way to learn how a video edit application works. So I have made a YouTube channel called Adventure Reviews YouTube Channel. Feel free to comment, bad or good. Though I suspect if I receive some encouragement I may do more.,, and assume I will get better at it. I set up the channel as if I would but I have no current plans to do another one… for now.
